Forex Currency Trading is similar to trading stocks and shares, except in this case you're trading currency. When you buy shares in a particular company, you are doing it in the hope that the company will grow and prosper. If it does, the value of your shares increases. With currency trading, you are "investing" in a country's economy.
The sad truth is that for perhaps 90% of forex newbies, there is little difference between investing and gambling. Without any proper trading system in place, all they are doing is relying on their own gut instinct to guide them. Some even rely solely on luck to direct their trades.
Sometimes they might break even, sometimes they experience a little profit, but it's all just a rollercoaster ride. It's important to know at this point that if you want to succeed with forex trading, you don't need to rely on gut instinct or luck. All you need to do is use a proven trading system.
What do I mean by that? Well, like in any business endeavour, imitation is far better than innovation. In this case, you don't need to reinvent the wheel; all you need to do is seek out a successful forex trader, find out what they done to get where they are, and then simply copy their approach.
Once you look at it this way, you start to see that there isn't any guesswork involved. All you're essentially doing is leveraging another trader's hard work and effort, and using the system they've developed over months or even years of trial and error, to dictate your own trading decisions.
Some successful traders have even packaged up their proven trading systems in order to sell them. By searching in any popular search engine, you'll probably find a great deal of them. Many however make bold and unrealistic claims and just don't live up to the hype; so you need to do your due diligence.
